Interview

1. What inspired you to start writing?

I started writing when I was in high school. It was a way to get me feeling out, more like a journal. Mini stories that would race through my mind based on things that would happen to me or someone I knew. I would recreate the action and then let the ending be my choice. How I would wish it to end.
I began writing the books I now have for purchase after one of my very good friends (Who is a HEAVY reader) read one of my stories and suggested that I list it for others to read as well.

2. What is your writing ritual (if you have one)?

Ritual depends on the scene within the story. Mainly it consists of Music...lots of music. I try to set the mood that I am attempting to reflect within the book. I usually do most of my writing after the kids and hubby are in bed. I like silence during writing besides my music. Considering I have 608 songs on my MP3 player i can always find a few that push me through the feelings I want to have at that particular moment.

3. Who is your Favourite Author?

My favourite Author---I don’t have just one. I would say Nora Roberts is one along with James Patterson and I love indie writers...There are some real jewels hidden.

4. What are your favourite books? All time and book-of-the-moment.

Book Favourites. James Patterson the Alex Cross series. Of Course Fifty Shades is up there at the top as well.

5. What writing support network do you have?

Writing support network. I actually have a set of Arc Readers I rely on with every book. I value their suggestions and opinions and appreciate their time a great deal.
My parents were and still are foster parents since I was in grade school. I have witnessed some of the most horrible situations based on the cases they were presented with. I have a large range of people I can question and pick their brains. Based on all sorts of feelings and actions. Not to mentions I rely on my family who are all amazing.

6. What is your most loved and most loathed moments of writing/publishing?

Loathed moments---The heartless critics. Yes the ones that feel that just because they themselves didn’t care for the story as much as others, they feel that they have to be cruel. Every writer attempts to reflect the best they can within their writing and when someone tears their work apart it is hard. So you didn’t like it...okay that's fine but you don’t have to be cruel and hateful. Just rate it and move on. Not every book is for every person. Each person has different wants and needs and no matter what we can’t make everyone happy.
Loved moments- FANS! They rock! I have had someone rate a book of mine at a 3 but instead of her tearing it apart she let me know how I could make it better and it was such a simple change. That was awesome. Even with the rating being low she was so kind about why. People like that are amazing and make me want to continue writing.

7. What do your fans mean to you?

As I said above....FANS are the greatest. There is nothing better than someone enjoying your work and letting you know that. I write for my enjoyment and my sanity. It is my escape from life and to have someone make a point to express their enjoyment of my work...it is so amazing. I don’t write for the money I write for the praise. Fans make it all worth the time I put into my stories.

About the Author

I am a mother of two, happily married and live in Illinois. I enjoy writing and have always enjoyed creating little stories in my head. Since I was very young I like creating scenes and deciding the outcomes. I have just recently decided to transfer them onto Amazon and share with others. I enjoy created stories then expressing those onto paper. I hope you enjoy my stories and I appreciate everyone’s interest. I enjoy writing romance with a little twist here and there to make it interesting. I love angst and tension within my stories. I try to keep it realistic to everyday life and our daily struggles that we all may face. Everyone loves a happy ending and in life that is not always the outcome. So why not live in a fantasy world where happy endings do happen. It is easy to wrap yourself up in a story and imagine that life. Take a ride through my imagination with my stories. I hope you enjoy. Thank you so much.
